About the nation
Ochetoha K'Idoma
One People. One History. One Future.
Ochetoha K'Idoma, the apex socio-cultural organisation of the Idoma nation, was founded to unite the Idoma-speaking people of what is today Benue State, Nigeria, and to preserve the language, customs and institutions of the Idoma.
Across nearly a century the association has coordinated cultural festivals, community development, education and diaspora engagement across Idoma land and around the world.
The Idoma Division Centenary-Plus Celebration marks a century and more of organised Idoma life, honouring the past and building the foundations for the next hundred years.
